Built about 1870 by Sanford Granger, the Worrall bridge is now Rockingham's only surviving original 19th-century covered bridge, after the Hall and Bartonsville bridges were destroyed and replaced. It has a rare wooden ramp at its northwest entrance and was renovated around 2010. It survived Tropical Storm Irene in 2011 but was damaged by the flooding of July 10, 2023, with the town later voting to repair it using FEMA funds.
