Built in 1880 by Walter Bagley just south of Warren village, this queen post bridge is also signed as the Lincoln Gap Bridge. Its trusses are sheathed on the inside as well as the outside, one of only two Vermont bridges built that way, and that hidden construction concealed serious rot: inspectors found a failing upstream truss after flooding in the late 1990s, and the bridge closed in 1999. Restorer Jan Lewandoski's crew rebuilt it around a single 66-foot replacement bottom chord timber, and the bridge was rededicated on October 6, 2000. Its eastern portal extends noticeably farther over the approach road than the western one.
