Built about 1880 and originally called the Stoughton bridge for neighboring landowners on the Black River, this bridge would have ended up under Stoughton Pond when the flood-control project was built in 1959. Local historian Andrew Titcomb had it moved instead to a brook in his own pasture across from Weathersfield Elementary School, where it still stands as a private footbridge, and it is now generally known by his name. Bridge references list it as not National Register eligible after the move.
