Also called the Lower Bridge, for its position downstream of the Seguin Bridge, and the Sherman Bridge, for the family whose sawmill stood nearby, Quinlan's takes its usual name from the Quinlan family that held land in the area. Its unknown builder was most likely the same person who built the Seguin Bridge upstream, and the two are near-twins in their Burr arch construction. Steel beams were slipped under the deck in 1949 or 1950 to strengthen it, and in 2013 the bridge underwent a full reconstruction in which the roof was lifted by crane so the top chords and trusses could be replaced.
