A 15-foot Town lattice footbridge built in 2008 at the entrance to nature trails behind Reading Elementary School, led by Johnny Esau with help from Garret Mulder and built with hands-on work from every grade, from kindergartners cutting treenails to older students cutting chords and rafters and helping with design. It is a near-twin of Esau's 2004 Johnny Esau bridge at Marlboro Elementary, whose construction slideshow the Reading students studied, and its parts carry small identification tags so the bridge itself teaches.
