Built in 1904 by an unknown builder, the Kingsbury Bridge has been described as the youngest of Vermont's historic covered bridges, with no new historic-period covered bridges built in the state after it until the 1960s. It was restored in 1980 but closed soon after because of ice damage, then repaired again in 1994 and renovated again in 2009. It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1974.
