This bridge is the National Register-listed Orne Covered Bridge, also called the Irasburg or Coventry bridge because it stands just south of Coventry village. The original was, at its 1974 listing, the only surviving historic Paddleford truss bridge on a public road in Vermont, built with notably large timbers. An arsonist burned it in 1997, and the community rebuilt it in kind, completed in 2000, with long-time selectman Roy Ingalls honored by name on its portals. Like the Columbia Bridge, one side is fully sided while the other is sided only halfway.
