💬 Set between Echo Lake and the Black River just outside Ludlow, The Inn at Water's Edge is a boutique waterfront bed-and-breakfast established in 1999 and fully renovated in 2020. Its eleven guest rooms each have a private custom-tiled bath stocked with the inn's own handmade toiletries. Mornings start with plated farm-to-table breakfasts — coconut French toast or chilaquiles — and evenings wind down in the adjoining English pub by a mighty cozy fire. It's under five miles to Okemo and close to Fox Run Golf, with Camp Plymouth State Park a short paddle across the lake. Note: they are typically closed Tuesday and Wednesday nights.
