💬 Bryant Cabin — also known as Bryant Camp — is a true backcountry escape in the Bolton Valley backwoods, inside Mount Mansfield State Forest. Built around 1930 and restored by the Green Mountain Club, this primitive cabin is a one-mile hike or ski up the Bryant Trail from Bolton Valley's Nordic Center. Inside you'll find an unfurnished sleeping loft for up to eight guests, a woodstove with seasoned firewood, and a composting privy — no electricity, no running water, no insulation, so bring your warmest bag for a Vermont winter night. Dozens of miles of cross-country, backcountry, and lift-served trails surround it.
