💬 Vermont's largest fish hatchery has raised brook, brown and rainbow trout since 1916, on grounds listed on the National Register of Historic Places. Visitors can feed the two-year-old trophy trout - browns and rainbows over 15 inches - in the viewing ponds, and herons, osprey and otters visit the raceways too. Two miles from downtown Bennington, with a visitor center on site.
