💬 Morse Farm Maple Sugarworks is the Montpelier institution behind 200 years of family maple sugaring tradition, where visitors can watch maple syrup being made, sample it fresh, and take home fine maple products. The current farm store and sugarworks date to 1966, when Harry Morse Sr. switched from dairying to sugaring and opened one of Vermont's pioneering agritourism ventures; his son Burr Morse ran it for nearly 40 years before retiring in 2022. Open daily year-round, the farm is famous for its maple creemees -- served even in winter -- and its store full of Vermont products.
